[Iris jumps a bit, but gives a small wave back. She's not usually this jittery, but as a messenger, she thinks she need to be respectful and stuff.] E-evening, Famine.

[Such a jittery little thing, aren't you Iris.] 'ullo Iris. Hope none of the others are picking on you.

[She's similar to her summoner in a couple of ways, that's for sure.] Ah, nope, it's been fine. Everyone else has been pretty nice to me... uh, sir.

Ah, little sky jewel, it's just Famine. I don't have the crown, so I can't be a sir.

[Iris smiles faintly, even if she does fidget with a bit of her robes.] Ah, okay. Just Famine, then... It's kind of a habit, to call people 'sir' and 'lady' and stuff.

Well, that's a good habit to have if you're going to have to talk to old sticks in the mud like some people I could name.

[She giggles at that.] Then I'll make sure to keep it up in case I do meet any 'old sticks in the mud'... Though can I ask who they are, just so I can be prepared?

Well, Halandriel comes to mind, but he's more of a stressed out duck then a stick in the mud, he's constantly in molt so I wonder if that has something to do with it.

[Another bout of the giggles and she gives him a nod.] Well, 'stressed out duck' is a new one. But, ehe, I'll try not to make his molting or anything worse if I come across him.

He has the worst luck, I swear. He's a pleasant enough fellow other wise however.

Ehe, okay, I'll keep that in mind, Famine. [She gives him a bit of a brighter smile when she nods again.]

[Have a boney head pat there Iris. Aren't you the cutest little thing.]

However he has no sense of humor unless you make him so watch that bit.

[A blink at the head pat, but she seems to share her summoners fondness of them, as she happily smiles up at him.]

Right, I'll make sure that not to tell any sort of jokes or anything. Especially since I'm kinda bad at them.

[It's hard to tell when a skull smiles, but there is a distinct air of amusement here.]

Good, good, wouldn't want him to shake his stick at you.

Or to cause him to shed more feathers. I don't wanna ruin his wings, after all.

For the best. Those poor things are all tattered.

Yeah, that's true. Thoooough I guess it's probably best not to tell him that. [She gives another quiet giggle.]

Probably not, no. His tongue is harsher then Pestilence's strongest pox.

Eep... Yeah, I'll be pretty careful about what I say around him, in that case.

I guess he gets rather frustrated guarding that gate all the time.

Yeah, it's probably pretty boring just having to stand in front of it all day. [She huffs a quiet laugh, fidgeting with some of her robe again.]

... Ah, Famine, how is your summoner doing?

Lonely. A feast of siblings in his head, turned to a famine of just mine. I do what I can of course but I am what I am and still of himself and not others.

I see... Sometimes I wish there was more we could do for our summoners. Even if it's just kicking them into gear or something.

I know, the weight of our options is less then a feather.

I just hope that they will be able to pull themselves out of their slumps.
